Payment:
$30 per child per month.
You can pay by the month via cheque, automatic debit, or credit card.
This includes:
Tuition, uniform, shoes, registration and fees, notebooks, pencils, pens, textbooks, and exercise books.
Christian Discipleship Class:
Once a month your child will attend a Christian discipleship class where they will receive Biblical intruction, led by Prince, our HFA ground worker in Ghana. They will also be provided with a hot meal.
Grade Level:
The grade level may not necessarily reflect their age, depending if they’ve had the opportunity for education before.
Writing to your Sponsor Child:
Please write to your sponsor child.
Please send all correspondence to Marsha or Jackie who will then forward it to your child. You will greatly encourage them in their desperate situation. The relating of their story is painful but they love a listening ear!
In writing, please remember the following:
1). Never send cash.
2). Do not respond to requests for money. If you wish to help out their family with an extra blessing, please send the money through us and we can wire it to them.
3). It would be a good idea not to send valuable gifts in the mail. You can send small gifts, but there are no guarantees it will actually get there. If it does, what a blessing!
4). Please do not give them your phone number or email address. No direct contact with your sponsor child is permitted as this causes a whole other set of problems for everyone involved.
5). They would love to receive pictures of your family. Please do not send pictures of the richness of our country (ie. houses, vehicles, possessions).
6). If they wish to write to you, they can do so through Chris, our current field worker in Liberia or Prince, our worker at Buduburam.
